ReqON is the SEON's ontology subnetwork devoted to Requirements Engineering (RE). The Reference Software Requirements Ontology (RSRO) is its main ontology and captures the most general notions regarding requirements, which are valid for all RE approaches. Other ontologies in this subnetwork focus on specific RE aspects or approaches. Currently, ReqON includes the following domain ontologies: the Goal-Oriented Requirements Ontology (GORO) focuses on the basic notions of Goal-Oriented Requirements Engineering; the Requirements Development Process Ontology (RDPO) aims at representing the activities, artifacts and stakeholders involved in the Software Requirements Development Process; the Runtime Requirements Ontology (RRO) addresses the use of Requirements at Runtime.

The Requirements Ontology Subnetwork (ReqON) is the part of SEON that deals with aspects related to Requirements Engineering (RE). Its main domain ontology is the Reference Software Requirements Ontology (RSRO), which captures the most general notions regarding requirements that are valid for all Requirements Engineering approaches. Other ontologies in ReqON use the conceptualization in RSRO to model a specific RE aspect or approach.
